A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Artur Sergipano hit a great ball. Erik Donatello hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. Murillo Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper José Augusto de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlindo Teixeira. Arlindo Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but José Augusto de Godoi made a huge save. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 22nd minute of play. Geraldo Queirós struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. José Augusto de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abutres 2003 FDP. Jefferson Aparecido hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Geraldo Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Augusto de Godoi, 2-0. Caio da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pedro Cearense hit a great ball. Arlindo Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Augusto de Godoi having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Abutres 2003 FDP's Cristóvão de Salles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Augusto de Godoi. José Augusto de Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Richard Travassos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, one of AF CERRADO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erik Donatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Augusto de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Donatello slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão de Salles to make the kick off. Arlindo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, Murillo Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Augusto de Godoi. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Augusto de Godoi should have stopped the shot. Renatinho Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Geraldo Queirós made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Augusto de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Ceresso. José Augusto de Godoi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Abutres 2003 FDP's Arlindo Teixeira. But to his dismay, Arlindo Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 93rd minute Arlindo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
