In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper João Augusto Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Grêmio 20 Julho's Tomás Pirani got a free kick in the 17th minute. Eusébio Barros scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Eustratios Pechlifanis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio 20 Julho's João Augusto Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BRASIL.Sp's zone, Anderson de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guilherme Marques came out of the goal and Anderson de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustratios Pechlifanis made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Grêmio 20 Julho's Tomás Pirani got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tomás Pirani hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Eusébio Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. João Augusto Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustratios Pechlifanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto Branco was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Mario Jardeløv capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mario Jardeløv really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 77 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's Eustratios Pechlifanis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Augusto Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 79th minute, Jael Jardel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Eustratios Pechlifanis notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Grêmio 20 Julho's João Augusto Branco. João Augusto Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Augusto Branco made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Robertinho Teodorowski sent off a good shot on target. Almir Matos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Augusto Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Almir Matos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 94th minute. BRASIL.Sp played a much better game than Grêmio 20 Julho and deserved their victory. The Grêmio 20 Julho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
