An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 3rd minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Emilio Cascajares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's zone, Emilio Cascajares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Amor came out of the goal and Emilio Cascajares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Arí Machado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eskil Vester. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 22nd minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Rene Sergi charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Sergi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Rene Sergi got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 30th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Emilio Cascajares made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Amor. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Cascajares came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, October 04's Emilio Cascajares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Amor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Eskil Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Machado in the 39th minute of the match. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Cascajares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Cícero da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cícero da Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Cascajares during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Cascajares to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Emilio Cascajares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Cascajares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. October 04 made a substitution. Luís Fabiano Gaspar replaced Andrey Nazarov. Luís Paulo Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 76th minute of play. Robert Bambas made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felippe Paranaense. In the 78th minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Felippe Paranaense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Emilio Cascajares hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Arí Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Eskil Vester made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
