Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Salles in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.A. Francana defense, Cristóvão de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Trigo. The A.A. Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Trigo should have stopped the shot. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Ramos in the 13th minute of play. Telmo Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Wilton Romero hit a great ball. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Teixeira in the 24th minute of play. Tony Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Serginho Alagoano hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Cristóvão de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abutres 2003 FDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão de Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Arlindo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão de Salles made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Luiz Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Luiz Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murillo Bittencourt hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Abutres 2003 FDP getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Erik Donatello hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Arnaldo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Cristóvão de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Cristóvão de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Romero in the 80th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Matos hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Abutres 2003 FDP's Cristóvão de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Salles in the 93rd minute of play. Cristóvão de Salles struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Telmo Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abutres 2003 FDP. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abutres 2003 FDP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
