Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Telmo Trigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cido Vinhas's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cido Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Cido Vinhas. Rodolfo Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Telmo Trigo made a huge save. Serginho Alagoano's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Serginho Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Paulo Paes could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Telmo Trigo however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th minute of the match Evandro Mangueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Couto skillfully saved the ball. Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the A.A. Francana defense, Rodolfo Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Trigo. The A.A. Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Trigo should have stopped the shot. When Serginho Alagoano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Rodolfo Munhoz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A.A. Durvalino Albuquerque was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. From close distance Rodolfo Munhoz pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 36 minutes into the game. 46 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Munhoz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Telmo Trigo. Rodolfo Munhoz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Munhoz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Munhoz in the 53rd minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Armandinho Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Munhoz in the 78th minute of play. When Wesley Teles came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Teles couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Munhoz came free, but Telmo Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes, João Adolfo Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A. Francana and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evandro Mangueira during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evandro Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Munhoz in the 90th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Telmo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Durvalino Albuquerque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Telmo Trigo skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. October 04 had won after a very even match.
