Gheorghe Bociort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Falco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iacob Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 4th minute of play. If Gheorghe Bociort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Czapski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Iacob Povară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tristan Falco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisc Ciocoiu in the 10th minute. The nice shot from Francisc Ciocoiu in the 11thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Tristan Falco had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Bociort in the 13th minute of play. When Igor Czapski came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Czapski couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Pancu in the 20th minute of play. Francisc Ciocoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Falco having to interfere. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Czapski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Sami Zübeyr. Luca Pancu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tristan Falco. FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Francisc Ciocoiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tristan Falco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Ciocoiu in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Miclauș to maneuver through the defense. George Vârșan made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luca Pancu. Sabin Miclauș kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Tristan Falco made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Francisc Ciocoiu sent off a good shot on target. Iacob Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisc Ciocoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iacob Povară saved F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Pancu in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Falco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Miclauș in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Dombi didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Gelu Bâru replaced Dieter Nisipeanu. FC Maci -MM-'s Magnus Carlsen was substituted for Martin Costeiantu. After 72 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Dombi. Sami Zübeyr succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 77th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Bociort in the 80th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dan Petrescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dan Petrescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dan Petrescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Maci -MM- a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sami Zübeyr, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară. 1-2. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Pancu in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Maci -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
