In the 28th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mugur Cenușă got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Ilarie came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Banu in the 45th minute of the match. When Mihăiţă Ilarie came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Ilarie couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiberiu Caramarin to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MIT made a substitution. Bogdan Bucataru replaced Mihăiţă Ilarie. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Samuel Hall hit a great ball. MIT's Aurel Buzea was substituted for Florin Seremet. Samuel Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Samuel Hall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Tractorul Satulung -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MIT:s goal. Panait Hațegan had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Romeo Gherghescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Afonsinho Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded MIT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tractorul Satulung -MM-.
