After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Viorel Leu managed to get in a good position for a shot. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Leu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Barbăneagră breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustinian Stanciu charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Stanciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Iustinian Stanciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Marin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Aron Chindriș got control of the ball when Iustinian Stanciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Sârban during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when AC Milan Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Sârban didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Leu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Barbăneagră saved AC Milan Tigers from getting behind. Codrin Barbăneagră didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Răcănel went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Viorel Leu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră. Codrin Barbăneagră was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codrin Barbăneagră came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Viorel Leu. But to his dismay, Viorel Leu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Viorel Leu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Leu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Codrin Barbăneagră. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viorel Leu ran back to his position shaking his head. Codrin Barbăneagră showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Leu in the 43rd minute of the match. Petru Lăceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Lăceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan Tigers's zone, Viorel Leu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Barbăneagră came out of the goal and Viorel Leu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Creangă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when AC Milan Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Văcărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan Tigers from getting a goal against them. Codrin Barbăneagră made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Leu in the 59th minute of play. Viorel Leu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Leu in the 61st minute of play forced AC Milan Tigers's goalkeeper Codrin Barbăneagră to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră got control of the ball when Viorel Leu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Codrin Barbăneagră took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Leu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustinian Stanciu in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Chindriș saved GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting behind. AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Leu in the 76th minute of play. Codrin Barbăneagră showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Leu in the 79th minute of the match. Codrin Barbăneagră stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Leu's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, AC Milan Tigers's goalkeeper Codrin Barbăneagră had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narcis Răcănel. Iustinian Stanciu was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Pankracy Siwy was substituted for Paulino Marin. In the 84th match minute, AC Milan Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Stanciu to maneuver through the defense. Codrin Barbăneagră was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hortêncio Coutinho. Codrin Barbăneagră made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Răcănel in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to GoooooooooooooooooooooooL getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Narcis Răcănel hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes, AC Milan Tigers's Dumitru Mălăele shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aron Chindriș came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Milan Tigers reached it. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
