Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mădălin Cangeopol started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the MIT defense, Wesley Sneijder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Madgearu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 13th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Panait Hațegan managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Marlon Brando fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s protests and gave Marlon Brando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MIT booed when Tractorul Satulung -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlon Brando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mădălin Cangeopol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MIT booed when Tractorul Satulung -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heintje Gamarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiberiu Caramarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Panait Hațegan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Caramarin in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Hațegan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Wesley Sneijder came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Sneijder couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panait Hațegan saved Tractorul Satulung -MM- from getting behind. Dorin Banu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Panait Hațegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Tiberiu Caramarin made the kick off in the second half. Mădălin Cangeopol hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlon Brando hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. MIT's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Caramarin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Hațegan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Wesley Sneijder got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, MIT's Calistrat Madgearu got control of the ball when Adrian Mutu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Nicodim Orășan made a precise shot to the right of Panait Hațegan. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 92 minutes of play, MIT's David Tunander made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panait Hațegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! MIT's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
