The crowd rose to their feet as DINAMO's Moise Vlădean slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 11th minute Tudor Bodea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tudor Bodea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Dorin Plăcintă fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Dorin Plăcintă a yellow card for diving instead. Corneliu Vulpăşin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dorin Agârbiceanu. 32 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Bodea came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Papadima in the 39th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ryszard Borcz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Corneliu Vulpăşin to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Bodea was the one to do the kick off. Tudor Bodea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Ysmael Marfil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Filipoiu in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Stoiculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Moise Vlădean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's Claudio Cina got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calistrat Mihalcea during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Calistrat Mihalcea got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Claudio Cina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unicorns ™ the free kick. In the 81st minute, Claudio Cina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Casas in the 83rd minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iustinian Petre. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DINAMO fully deserved thier win.
