After 6 minutes of play, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corneliu Vulpăşin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moise Vlădean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. When DINAMO's Moise Vlădean in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unicorns ™'s goalie prevented a goal. After 14 minutes, Iustinian Petre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 15th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tudor Bodea sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Bodea got free with Ysmael Marfil in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Barros. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Moise Vlădean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Dino Félix came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Calistrat Mihalcea hit a great ball. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tudor Bodea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Ysmael Marfil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 46 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Petre. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Moise Vlădean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute Petru Avramescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Borcz scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute Tudor Bodea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moise Vlădean. In the 65thth minute of the game Ryszard Borcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Iustinian Petre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes, Octavian Chivu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Unicorns ™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unicorns ™. Corneliu Vulpăşin had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Dorin Agârbiceanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Dorin Agârbiceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorin Agârbiceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Iustinian Petre kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute Tudor Bodea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Albert Şania put in a rough tackle. After 81 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Albert Şania. In the 82nd minute, Dorin Agârbiceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Vlădean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. If Dino Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. When the final whistle sounded DINAMO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Unicorns ™.
