When Evaristo da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the RAMBO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo da Rocha couldn't finish the play. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Félix in the 39th minute of play. Evaristo da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysmael Marfil having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
