Marius Bălașa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Manuel Boteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Golescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Dan Tinu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marius Bălașa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Fabian Mihuț got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Boteanu got free with Avram Golescu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Avram Golescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Manuel Boteanu in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 22nd minute Juventus Țiu were awarded a corner. Manuel Boteanu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Manuel Boteanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Avram Golescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Tăutu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avram Golescu was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Târban came free, but Avram Golescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute, one of Scorpions -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scorpions -MM-. The referee gave Juventus Țiu a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Boteanu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu. 3-5. The Scorpions -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scorpions -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
