But to his dismay, Nico Schellander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amável Falcão got free with Avram Golescu in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 minutes Scorpions -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amável Falcão who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Amável Falcão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu did a great save. After 13 minutes, Dorinel Munteanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Dorinel Munteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC!Empire!Costy squad ™'s Eric Jitaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Ţintă in the 23rd minute of play. The corner led Scorpions -MM-'s Dorinel Munteanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Eric Jitaru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eric Jitaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Vătăşel in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Amável Falcão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Costel Ţintă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Jitaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Avram Golescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Ignătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nico Schellander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Avram Golescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico Schellander slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute. Scorpions -MM-'s Costel Ţintă got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avram Golescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Willett in the 47th minute of the match.

In the 72nd minute Costel Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Jitaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Scorpions -MM- defense, Remus Piacente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avram Golescu. The Scorpions -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avram Golescu should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
