VIP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ştefan Coșereanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Boteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dumitru Berca made a huge save. Sebastian Ţugui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marius Bălașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on VIP's corner Ilie Buhuș fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marius Bălașa quite easily take care of the ball. VIP's Dobri Karapetrov got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Ţugui took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Bălașa. Marius Bălașa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Sebastian Ţugui put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marius Bălașa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobri Karapetrov in the 31st minute of play forced Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Marius Bălașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VIP's Dumitru Berca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save VIP from getting a goal against them. Marius Bălașa came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by VIP's Dobri Karapetrov. But to his dismay, Dobri Karapetrov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ţugui in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, VIP's Ştefan Coșereanu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Juventus Țiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Popeneciu to maneuver through the defense. Marius Bălașa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobri Karapetrov was the one to do the kick off. Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ţugui in the 54th minute of play. Ştefan Coșereanu scored 0-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Bălașa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Dobri Karapetrov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marius Bălașa. Dobri Karapetrov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Juventus Țiu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Ştefan Coșereanu scored to the left of an out of position Marius Bălașa, making the score, 0-6. The supporters of VIP booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Boteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Bălașa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Manuel Boteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Berca was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Juventus Țiu's goal looked a bit too open when Dobri Karapetrov came free, but Marius Bălașa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dorin Popeneciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus Țiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorin Popeneciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Berca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Juventus Țiu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VIP were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
