With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaizko Abaurre in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Bălașa saved Juventus Țiu from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Benedicto Abello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marius Bălașa. Juventus Țiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Abello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dorin Popeneciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Boteanu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mihnea Suşu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus Țiu. Marius Bălașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizko Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Juventus Țiu defense, Bogdan Chelaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marius Bălașa. The Juventus Țiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marius Bălașa should have stopped the shot. Bogdan Chelaru took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Bălașa. Marius Bălașa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Popeneciu in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Petru Drâmba took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Marius Bălașa to make any attempt to save it. In the 85th minute, Benedicto Abello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marius Bălașa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 90th minute, Juventus Țiu's Alexandru Chiriloaie seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexandru Chiriloaie the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juventus Țiu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexandru Chiriloaie had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for FC Dacii Liberi - IASI. Benedicto Abello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marius Bălașa. 1-7. Manuel Boteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Mihnea Suşu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
