Benedicto Abello ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mihnea Suşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ţugui in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of VIP booed when FC Dacii Liberi - IASI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Chelaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 10th minute of play. Demetrio Nero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Nero to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Dacii Liberi - IASI getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Demetrio Nero hit a great ball. Mihnea Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 19th minute of play forced FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goalkeeper Mihnea Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Suşu having to interfere. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sebastian Ţugui sped through FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Suşu.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Coșereanu made a kick off. After 52 played minutes FC Dacii Liberi - IASI got a freekick which was hit by Ognyan Shiyachki. The crowd rose to their feet as VIP's Sebastian Ţugui slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihnea Suşu. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Petru Drâmba got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sebastian Ţugui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Suşu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when VIP's Sebastian Ţugui shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Mihnea Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Brovall in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Petru Drâmba got a free kick in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the game, VIP's Dobri Karapetrov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Suşu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Mihnea Suşu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ştefan Coșereanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Mihnea Suşu to make any attempt to save it. Ronny Brovall hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Gaizko Abaurre came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
