Wesley Teles started the match with the kick off. When Wesley Teles fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Wesley Teles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Wesley Teles hit a great ball. Diego de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Andrade went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Álvaro Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Toni Ramos in the 12th minute of play was well struck, but Adelino de Andrade made a really good save at the right post. Wesley Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Adelino de Andrade made a huge save. After 26 minutes, Mauro Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Mauro Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Adelino de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Paes in the 28th minute of play. The October 04 fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when October 04's Pedro Paulo Paes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the October 04 defense, Claudinho Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego de Toledo. The October 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego de Toledo should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Andrade to make the kick off. When October 04's Wesley Teles in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hermínio Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Melo to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Teles came free, but Adelino de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Augusto Sá scored 5-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego de Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that October 04 were the better team. October 04's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
