Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Diego de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Cardoso. The supporters of October 04 booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Wesley Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UPTEXTIL.COM's Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the October 04 defense, Diguinho Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego de Toledo. The October 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego de Toledo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cardoso in the 26th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Diego de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Magalhães in the 29th minute of play. Diego de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Camargo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 33rd playminute. Rodolfo Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Teles came free, but Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Wesley Teles made the kick off in the second half. Michel Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paulo Paes got free with Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Pedro Paulo Paes came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Paes couldn't finish the play. Diego de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Lucas in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Teles got free with Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Pedro Paulo Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Claudinho Antunes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of UPTEXTIL.COM's Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, UPTEXTIL.COM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Diego de Toledo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by UPTEXTIL.COM's Alberto Cardoso. But to his dismay, Alberto Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the October 04 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UPTEXTIL.COM.
