JFSP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamutes EC the free kick. Tiaguinho Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Bola Forte came free, but Thibault Mamardashvili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bola Forte in the 15th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Thibault Mamardashvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Nilson Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vambola Probach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson Paranaense was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vambola Probach got free with Nilson Paranaense in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilson Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vambola Probach's shot from short distance in the 51st minute.
