Christian Oliveira lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Compostela FSCMZ! The referee gave Várzea F.C. a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alessandro Mandrak, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Baiano. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Oswaldo Cabral got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Compostela FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Cabral. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Mandrak got free with Luiz Fernando Baiano in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Alessandro Mandrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fernando Baiano. The goal made the score 3-0. Alessandro Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Baiano having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Evandro Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compostela FSCMZ and the Várzea F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Mandrak to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Loureiro came free, but Luiz Fernando Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Jano Paiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Paiva in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Arósio in the 78th minute of play forced Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Várzea F.C. made a substitution. Edmílson Donato replaced Jailson Koehler. The supporters of Várzea F.C. booed when Compostela FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fernando Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Arósio in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Compostela FSCMZ's zone, Edmílson Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Baiano came out of the goal and Edmílson Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Várzea F.C. had played much better football throughout.
