After 19 minutes of play, Mamutes EC's Robinho Oliveira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fernando Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mamutes EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compostela FSCMZ the free kick. In the 26th minute, Carlos Augusto de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fernando Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bola Forte in the 28th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Baiano came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's Bola Forte. But to his dismay, Bola Forte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when David Lima came free, but Luiz Fernando Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Damião in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Robinho Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when Mamutes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Compostela FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mamutes EC were winning 0-3.

53 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bola Forte. 58 minutes into the match, Bola Forte notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Compostela FSCMZ's Luiz Fernando Baiano. Luiz Fernando Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Almir Damião received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fernando Baiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Almir Damião slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 83rd minute. With his leg Luiz Fernando Baiano managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Mamutes EC's Robinho Oliveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Almir Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fernando Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Almir Damião went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. When the match was over Mamutes EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Compostela FSCMZ throughout the match.
