The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. October 04's Hamílton Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Paraibano in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes UPTEXTIL.COM got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Magalhães. Geraldo Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Hamílton Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Schmidt in the 23rd minute of play. After 23rd play minutes Rodolfo Munhoz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho and just under the crossbar into goal. October 04's Geraldo Schmidt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 33 minutes of play, October 04's Geraldo Schmidt made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Jardel Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Rezende was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Schmidt in the 38th minute of the match. Hamílton Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Pinheiro was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Munhoz in the 53rd minute of play forced UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodolfo Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UPTEXTIL.COM getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Claudinei Botelho hit a great ball. Durvalino Albuquerque took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho. UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. October 04's Hamílton Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save October 04 from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Faustão dos Santos. Hamílton Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Jeremias Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremias Pinheiro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. October 04's Ruy Lira was substituted for Faustão dos Santos. In the 69th match minute, UPTEXTIL.COM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Schmidt in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mário Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jeremias Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Rezende having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the game, Durvalino Albuquerque landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Baltazar Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UPTEXTIL.COM's protests and gave Baltazar Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of October 04 booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Toni Ramos notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of UPTEXTIL.COM's Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wesley Teles scored 6-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. October 04 had won after a very even match.
