After having played for 8 minutes, Mateus Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SinháCity FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Mendes in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Goblins F.C.'s Sílvio Moraes got control of the ball when Evandro Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Horácio Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Zé Pedro Mendes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bruninho Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evandro Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Moraes having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sílvio Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 played minutes SinháCity FC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Braga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Mendes in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Vander saved SinháCity FC from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, SinháCity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Alex Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evandro Braga was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Waldemar Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 58 minutes, Allan Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SinháCity FC and the Goblins F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Allan Loyola got a free kick in the 58th minute. Zé Pedro Mendess short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Alex Vander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the match, Goblins F.C.'s Zé Pedro Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Drogba in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Bruninho Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bruninho Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SinháCity FC's Alex Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save SinháCity FC from getting a goal against them. Zé Pedro Mendes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, SinháCity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rocha to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Mattos in the 87th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SinháCity FC's Alex Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save SinháCity FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Zé Pedro Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Goblins F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
