In the 29th minute of the match, Wiliam Toscano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olavo Fonseca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Pena to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Clóvis Marinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Valladares in the 60th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Dalmo Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vascogoianiense FC's Olavo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Fonseca in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Maicon Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Fonseca. Vascogoianiense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Baltazar Tepedino sped through Vascogoianiense FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olavo Fonseca. Ronaldão Carvalho lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Vascogoianiense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Benjamin Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, FALCÕES VERDES's Maicon Diniz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball.
