In the 59th minute of the match David Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olívio Arruda skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute Zé Orella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Orella took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Simão in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Bacanas FC's Humberto Pires got a free kick in the 74th minute. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Orella in the 76th minute of play. Olívio Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serafim Simão succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 11-0. In the 94th minute, Serafim Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palestra do Interior had played much better football throughout.
