The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Valadares to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Josué Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascogoianiense FC and the CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Josué Pena hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Igor Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulisses Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Olavo Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Vascogoianiense FC defense, Igor Jesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olavo Fonseca. The Vascogoianiense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olavo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. If Walmyr Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ulisses Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Pena in the 42nd minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Jesus went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júnior Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genílson Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Camargo in the 51st minute of play. Olavo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Igor Jesus. But to his dismay, Igor Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 65 minutes into the game, Túlio Paes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vascogoianiense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vascogoianiense FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Hernani Prata got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olavo Fonseca. Vascogoianiense FC's Olavo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Breckenfeld in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Ulisses Valadares got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Túlio Paes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genílson Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. Ulisses Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Túlio Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernani Prata missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Olavo Fonseca right hand side. Anderson Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Genílson Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vascogoianiense FC.
