In the 28th minute Zé Orella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Zé Orella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Vander. SinháCity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Orella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, SinháCity FC's Mateus Ferreira got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Zé Orella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SinháCity FC's Alex Vander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Simão came free, but Alex Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Palestra do Interior's Zé Orella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Orella was the one to do the kick off. SinháCity FC's Alex Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Simão in the 57th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palestra do Interior reached it. Palestra do Interior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SinháCity FC the free kick. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jhon Barcellos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goalkeeper Alex Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Orella. Doni Pimenta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Vander came out and tried to block the shot, but Doni Pimenta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 84th minute. SinháCity FC's Alex Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SinháCity FC from getting a goal against them. Alex Vander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jhon Barcellos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 94 minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Ivo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Palestra do Interior played a much better game than SinháCity FC and deserved their victory. The SinháCity FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
