The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olívio Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Mattos in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Célio Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Bacanas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Guto Paranaense did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Olívio Arruda 16 minutes into the match. Elivélton Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Tostão Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Vander. SinháCity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th match minute, SinháCity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Alex Vander came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Bacanas FC's Elivélton Correia. But to his dismay, Elivélton Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alessandro Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Bacanas FC's Alessandro Paraibano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Caco Vianna hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Dionísio to make the kick off. Célio Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Vander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Célio Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Paranaense in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Correia. Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind SinháCity FC's goalkeeper Alex Vander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Ferreira in the 87th minute of play. Olívio Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Ferreira went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Caco Vianna hit a great ball. SinháCity FC's Giovanni Rocha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Bacanas FC. When SinháCity FC's Mateus Ferreira in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Bacanas FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see SinháCity FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
