The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Delfim Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. In the 8th minute, Delfim Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Galvão. Dorian do Nascimento made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fiori Mazza immediately put the ball in play. 16 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Silveira came free, but Gustavo Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when OS IMPOSSIVEIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Denílson Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. SinháCity FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaká Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, SinháCity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Silveira came free, but Gustavo Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Gilberto Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, SinháCity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rocha to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Cristiano Bertassi led 42 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Dorian do Nascimento hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The SinháCity FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. OS IMPOSSIVEIS were winning 0-1.

Nando Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Dedê Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OS IMPOSSIVEIS and the SinháCity FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Guedes. In the 58th minute, Luiz Fábio de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Barral made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristiano Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Gustavo Barral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute Gilberto Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delfim Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the OS IMPOSSIVEIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Aparecido couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Silveira in the 69th minute of the match. When Luiz Fábio de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SinháCity FC's protests and gave Luiz Fábio de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes SinháCity FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio de Mendonça. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Barral was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute Fiori Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Barral having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, one of SinháCity FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SinháCity FC. OS IMPOSSIVEIS played a much better game than SinháCity FC and deserved their victory. The SinháCity FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
