Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Villaverde Celeste Clube's Frederico Godoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Villaverde Celeste Clube defense, Davi Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Linares. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Linares should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Frederico Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Luizão Braga came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Mané Garrincha. But to his dismay, Mané Garrincha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 16 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Garrincha. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Luiz Gustavo do Valle got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes, Alberto Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villaverde Celeste Clube and the Catugi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Galvão. After 22 played minutes Giuliano David rounded Catugi FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Garrincha in the 31st minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catugi FC's Luizão Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Catugi FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Godoi in the 36th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Villaverde Celeste Clube getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wilton Berger hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Frederico Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Luizão Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Donato in the 44th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dida Batista during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Dida Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Waldemar Lucas took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 57 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mané Garrincha. The supporters of Catugi FC booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davi Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico Godoi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When Frederico Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catugi FC's protests and gave Frederico Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Bertassi. 66 minutes into the game, Frederico Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Luizão Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 minutes of play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Mané Garrincha made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizão Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizão Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Godoi in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Garrincha in the 81st minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Luizão Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Bertassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Linares having to make a save. Luizão Braga came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Giuliano David. But to his dismay, Giuliano David quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Luizão Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glauco de Amorim hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Davi Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Iuri Viana got a free kick in the 97th minute. Mané Garrincha scored 12-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Villaverde Celeste Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
