Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lino Araújo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Godoi got free with Gil Seco in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Gil Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbson Donato. Gil Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Alberto Galvão from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Gil Seco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as Frederico Godoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil Seco. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. If Matías Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Frank Sten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Seco. Frank Sten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 35th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Loyola to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Alfredo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Lima in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Matías Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gil Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sten in the 51st minute of play. Gil Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sten in the 56th minute of the match. Wiliam Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Rosa. Róbson Donato was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. AF CERRADO's Gil Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sten in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Matías Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes, Pedro Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF CERRADO and the Villaverde Celeste Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frederico Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gil Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Frank Sten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gil Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Berger in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Godoi scored 5-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Seco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sten in the 88th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Gil Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while AF CERRADO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
