The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ciro Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilmar Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute Erik Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otávio Pimenta in the 10th minute. Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Coelho in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão Antunes in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Ciro Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Souza hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Tavares in the 26th minute of play. Nilmar Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Dênis Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo do Valle. COURO COME FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dino Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Olívio Diniz took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hugo do Valle to make any attempt to save it. Antônio Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilmar Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Tasso went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Canarinho Atordoado from getting a goal against them. Nilmar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Antunes in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Rubinho Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilmar Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Elói Loureiro put in a rough tackle. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canarinho Atordoado! Nilmar Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Antunes in the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Diniz during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Diniz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Tasso in the 71st minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Nilmar Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Dênis Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo do Valle. COURO COME FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Hugo do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in COURO COME FC's zone, Dênis Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo do Valle came out of the goal and Dênis Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Hugo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Pimenta in the 83rd minute of the match. Ciro Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Pimenta in the 99th minute of the match. The Canarinho Atordoado supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching COURO COME FC's performance. The match ended with a win for COURO COME FC.
