Tião Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Almeida having to interfere. Geovanni Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tião Castro in the 18th minute of the match. Hugo do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Celsinho Koehler hit a great ball. COURO COME FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Luís Fábio Goiano scored to the left of an out of position Hugo do Valle, making the score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Cavalcante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo do Valle. That made the score 3-1 in the 30 minute of play. Tião Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valério Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, César Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo do Valle. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo do Valle should have stopped the shot. Hugo do Valle made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jorge Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tião Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Mendes in the 54th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Tavares in the 57th minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play COURO COME FC's Celsinho Koehler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 59 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Koehler. In the 61st match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Cavalcante in the 63rd minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Hugo do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COURO COME FC's Hugo do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Arruda in the 64th minute of play. Hugo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Cavalcante in the 65th minute of play. Hugo do Valle came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's César Coelho. But to his dismay, César Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 72nd minute, César Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasiliense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When Agostinho Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasiliense FC's protests and gave Agostinho Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Brasiliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Hugo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Goiano in the 79th minute of play. Tião Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. COURO COME FC's Hugo do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cavalcante in the 83rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Jorge Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brasiliense FC had played much better football throughout.
