The referee ignored Canarinho Atordoado's protests and gave Dênis Matos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Matos to maneuver through the defense. Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Rossi in the 9th minute of play. Nilmar Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Rossi in the 11th minute of the match. Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Canarinho Atordoado from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jardim América FC's Tomás Mazza fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Tomás Mazza scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilmar Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Dênis Matos made a precise shot to the right of Perivaldo Torres. Jardim América FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Canarinho Atordoado's Nilmar Tande got control of the ball when Tomás Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Jardim América FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nico Rossi hit a great ball. Perivaldo Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Souza in the 44th minute of the match. Jardim América FC's Nico Rossi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Fábio Rocha, made in the 45th minute of the game. Canarinho Atordoado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Tomás Mazza scored to the left of an out of position Nilmar Tande, making the score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Souza made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Canarinho Atordoado's Luís Gustavo Souza made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Otávio Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perivaldo Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Messias during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabinho Messias struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Nilmar Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardim América FC. Tomás Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nilmar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Souza. Jardim América FC's Fabinho Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Canarinho Atordoado defense, Tomás Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilmar Tande. The Canarinho Atordoado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilmar Tande should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
