Kaká Passos made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mané Garrincha sent off a good shot on target. Primatas FC's Kaká Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Primatas FC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Mané Garrincha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kaká Passos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gugu Leme scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Primatas FC's Ismael Mazza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Kaká Passos made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mané Garrincha sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Primatas FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pinto Gigante made the kick off in the second half. Kaká Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuliano David, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Passos having to interfere. Alfredo Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Leme in the 65th minute. Primatas FC's Gugu Leme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Linares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Primatas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sten came free, but Kaká Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
