The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Catugi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Frederico Bertassi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, César Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Luizão Braga. Catugi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Catugi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute César Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Frederico Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Almeida. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Almeida should have stopped the shot. Luizão Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cavalcante in the 78th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Hudson Bezerra got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
