After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Wilson Reis got a free kick in the 8th minute. Geovanni Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pinto Gigante, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Pinto Gigante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Almeida. Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pinto Gigante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Primatas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Dantas came free, but Kaká Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Ismael Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Almeida. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Almeida should have stopped the shot. After 32 minutes, Amílton Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasiliense FC and the Primatas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amílton Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The Primatas FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Primatas FC's Pinto Gigante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pinto Gigante came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovanni Almeida could save by the left post. Kaká Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Mendes to make the kick off. Geovanni Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pinto Gigante in the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Primatas FC's goalkeeper Kaká Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílton Medeiros. 72 minutes into the match, Primatas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Medeiros came free, but Kaká Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinto Gigante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Geovanni Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaká Passos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Amílton Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Primatas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brasiliense FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
