Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gil Velloso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frank Sten took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Alcântara. Severino Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Alberto Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Lucas scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Donato Pitta. In the 25th minute, Róbson Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the AF CERRADO defense, Giuliano David kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Alcântara. The AF CERRADO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Alcântara should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Garrincha came free, but Severino Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Severino Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Garrincha in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mané Garrincha to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuliano David in the 56th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Severino Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Donato's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Róbson Donato helped the player get up and apologised. Róbson Donato hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Severino Alcântara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mané Garrincha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 63 minute of play. Severino Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AF CERRADO's Severino Alcântara got control of the ball when Alberto Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severino Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Róbson Donato sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Wilton Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sten got free with Severino Alcântara in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Severino Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilton Berger. AF CERRADO's Severino Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, Mané Garrincha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severino Alcântara. Mané Garrincha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 86th minute, Frank Sten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match, Róbson Donato got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severino Alcântara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Alfredo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Araújo in the 93rd minute of play. Wilton Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilton Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
