Catugi FC's Iuri Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Mazza in the 8th minute of play. Iuri Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pinto Gigante's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, Primatas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Natã Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kaká Passos made a huge save. Natã Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Davi Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Mazza came free, but Iuri Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catugi FC's Rômulo Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, José Pedro Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iuri Viana. Catugi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Pedro Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gugu Leme scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Garcia came free, but Iuri Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rômulo Romero was the one to do the kick off. Iuri Viana was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Gugu Leme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gugu Leme really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a little luck, Catugi FC's Iuri Viana got control of the ball when Pinto Gigante tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Primatas FC's Gugu Leme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iuri Viana. That made the score 0-4 after 61 minutes of play. After 67 played minutes Primatas FC got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Garcia. 69 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pinto Gigante came free, but Iuri Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Leme in the 71st minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Iuri Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iuri Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mazza in the 74th minute of play. Pinto Gigante took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Viana. Iuri Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. João Carlos Ramalho hit a great ball. Iuri Viana was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gugu Leme. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco de Amorim during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Glauco de Amorim hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Primatas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Lopes. Diamantino Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Diamantino Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gugu Leme hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Kaká Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Romero in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Ismael Mazza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iuri Viana. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 96th minute, Fabinho Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
