Pedro Luís Lima started the match with the kick off. Dorival Viana took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marquinhos Diniz. Marquinhos Diniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, César Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Jean Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Antunes in the 15th minute of play. Inácio de Lima struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Marquinhos Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan da Freguesia F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio de Lima in the 22nd minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Miguel Coelho was substituted for Otávio Paraense. In the 26th minute, Aílton Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Zé Augusto Tinoco hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Lima hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jean Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Wilian Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Jean Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Antunes in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Gabriel Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milan da Freguesia F.C. and the Jovens Democratas MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilian Antunes was the one to do the kick off. When Inácio de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio de Lima couldn't finish the play. Marquinhos Diniz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Dorival Viana sent off a good shot on target. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Branco in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute Wilian Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio de Sousa in the 93rd minute of play. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Milan da Freguesia F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
