Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. João Carlos Gaspar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 6th minute of play forced OFFLINE's goalkeeper Marcelo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Fonseca. If Luiz Fábio Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Mazurkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Vitor José showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís França, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when OFFLINE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Túlio Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E.R. When Genílson Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OFFLINE's protests and gave Genílson Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Túlio Negri got a free kick in the 84th minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vitor José played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Braga in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the OFFLINE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
