Telmo Madureira stood somewhat misplaced when Nico de Mendonça came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. Benê Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Madureira having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Válter de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válter de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Nico de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Braga got free with Telmo Madureira in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Telmo Madureira managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when OFFLINE's Nico de Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to OFFLINE getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nico de Mendonça hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico de Mendonça in the 31st minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, OFFLINE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Marco Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Taffarel having to interfere. Benê Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Telmo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Quintal in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telmo Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Telmo Madureira made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ronaldinho Braga sent off a good shot on target.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico de Mendonça in the 55th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Nico de Mendonça's late challenge caught a E.C 2 Janeiro RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Nico de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Sanches hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Maicon Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Maicon Quintal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fábio Schmidt made a great header on OFFLINE's corner, it was just that E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira managed to reach the ball for a save. Geraldo Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Telmo Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Nico de Mendonça notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira. Telmo Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Baiano in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Madureira saved E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Naldo Baiano made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. OFFLINE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
