In the 4th minute, Deivid Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Figueiredo in the 10th minute of play. Perivaldo Figueiredo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo de Sousa. Edvaldo de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa got control of the ball when Adhemar Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a little luck, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa got control of the ball when Perivaldo Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Pinho in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perivaldo Figueiredo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo de Sousa saved CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's André Vides ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edvaldo de Sousa. Edvaldo de Sousa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Edgard Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Cearense hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adhemar Pinho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Edvaldo de Sousa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deivid Moreira got free with Edvaldo de Sousa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adhemar Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Adhemar Pinho notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa. Edvaldo de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adhemar Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo de Sousa having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Adhemar Pinho put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edvaldo de Sousa. Edvaldo de Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Pinho went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Norberto Melo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Leão. In the 68th minute Adhemar Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perivaldo Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Pinho took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo de Sousa. Edvaldo de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. If Deivid Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Norberto Melo hit a great ball. Osvaldo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cacá Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Thiago Couto fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Thiago Couto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Thiago Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Adhemar Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Pinho in the 94th minute of play.
