The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Berger got free with Doriva Simão in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Classe A Futebol Clube's zone, João Augusto de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Simão came out of the goal and João Augusto de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Mazza in the 30th minute of play forced ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalkeeper Luizão Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Cauan do Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doriva Simão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Doriva Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Cruz in the 34th minute of play. If Telmo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Cruz made a kick off. If Cauan do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Paulista took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doriva Simão. Doriva Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ made a substitution. Didi Dionísio replaced Oswaldo Paulista. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ made a substitution. Eriberto da Fonseca replaced Cauan do Nascimento. Doriva Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Didi Dionísio went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Doriva Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Dionísio in the 90th minute of the match. Doriva Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ fully deserved thier win.
