When Ediberto Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granadero10's protests and gave Ediberto Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ediberto Teixeira hit a great ball. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 40th minute of the game, when Fausto Batista after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Granadero10's goal. Fausto Batista was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After 42 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Palmeira. Geovanni Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz das Neves having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardinho Vander was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ulisses Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granadero10's Dadá Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Vander in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Favoretto saved Granadero10 from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Ulisses Munhoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ernani Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernani Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Palmeira. Granadero10's Dadá Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 67th minute of play. Dadá Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 76 minutes on the clock, Pedro Paulo Paulista commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Pedro Paulo Paulista got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Eriberto Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Luiz das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Litoral EC - CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
