In the 7th match minute, Agroboys SM - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Dorival Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Salles in the 23rd minute of play. When Pedro Paulo Salles came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Salles couldn't finish the play. If Sydney Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Jonathan Seco got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe da Costa to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Olívio Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ the free kick. In the 54th minute, Olívio Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gugu Silva sped through Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorival Silveira. 61 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe da Costa came free, but Dorival Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Jonathan Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After having played for 73 minutes, Gugu Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedrão Tepedino during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedrão Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Paulo Brito hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
