After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Acácio Cardozo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilian Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arnaldo Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Mestre GG's Arnaldo Veloso threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dé Paiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 41 minutes of play Granadero10's Kauan Siqueira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Kauan Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Granadero10's Samuel Simões shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Granadero10 reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dé Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Granadero10's Ernani Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mestre GG players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
