Dé Paiva started the match with the kick off. If Wilian Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Wilian Fonseca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute Dé Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Perivaldo Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match, Zac Ba Loua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raúl de Amaral saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Raúl de Amaral was a little too slow when Zac Ba Loua got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, Mestre GG's João Francisco Mota got a free kick in the 37th minute. Christoffer Kempel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Raúl de Amaral made a huge save. Raúl de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perivaldo Pimenta in the 40th minute. Wilian Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Paulo de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mestre GG. With a little luck, Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral got control of the ball when Perivaldo Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mestre GG's Raúl de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabo D Agostino in the 52nd minute of play. When Amadeu Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mestre GG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Pombal couldn't finish the play. Christoffer Kempel kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Zeca Donatello hit a great ball. Christoffer Kempel scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raúl de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dé Paiva's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. João Francisco Mota hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Mestre GG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Francisco Mota in the 80th minute. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isaltino Oliveira hit a great ball. Zeca Garcia hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Zac Ba Loua charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zac Ba Loua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mestre GG had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
