Murilo Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Murilo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Souza in the 18th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Jardel Favoretto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarrasque Voador F.C. and the Curiphila Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Curiphila Eagles from getting a goal against them. Murilo Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Délio Terra's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Jardel Favoretto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Murilo Paiva but with some difficulty. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldir Souza to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Terra in the 51st minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Naldo Costa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s zone, Naldo Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho Arruda came out of the goal and Naldo Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Délio Terra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Waldir Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
